The Warriors have been getting weaker over the last few years. They played some intense basketball early this year, taking advantage of their depth, but while it was effective as a surprise attack, it didn't last long. They need another good big man next to Kuminga. Coach Kerr probably knows that he can't aim for a championship with the past system, but he probably lacks the ability to rebuild it.

The Cavs force people to defend their entire team. The opposing star player(s) can't get a bucket, flex or point at their hand, then loaf off on defense, letting their teammates pick up the slack. No, the Cavaliers go at those same stars, and now they gotta expend energy that they normally don't have to.
