Enrique has been one of the best managers for a long, long time but people for some reason always seem to ignore how good his teams are and consistently write PSG out. Its much less to them being a bad team and more to them being a squad that didn't care much about playing rather than being fancy. Big ups to him, his game management is impeccable.

@user-nl4cn1ew4w

They're the most impressive team I've watched this year over both legs.

@pixelpioneers-03e

That' PSG front three was unpredictable... playing without a striker helped them

@Whitecolla-boss_868

Very good game tactically. Enrique found a way to expose Liverpool's midfield area to great effect

@chiefvon3068

I'm a Liverpool fan and that was one of the best tactical games I've ever seen. Enrique had the advantage due to the quality of his front 3 and midfield. Macxa and gravenberch are really really good, but the individual quality of vitinha and João, simply on another level, especially their press resistance and calmness under pressure. In my opinion, slot got it wrong by starting Jota over Nunez. Nunez would've been much better for the press, and in the many situations where Liverpool needed size and strength to win balls, the advantage usually went to pacho and marquinhos. There were also situations where Nunez being in the box would have opened up better situations, or given us shots(one chance where Dona parried the ball into the middle of the box) Also, his hesitance to make subs showed that Enrique really gave him a headache. But in all, in a battle of tactics, Enrique's grey hairs showed across both legs, as well as Liverpool's tenacity while having a far less technical team than psg. Also, this game showed why Klopp liked having engine room midfielders who could run, press and recover for 90mins and more, the midfield of Henderson, Fabinho and Gini usually simply outprssed even the most technical teams to submission. gravenberch was already done by 60mins, and macca as well had no energy left at the end of the 90, szoboszlai was seen panting when he got to the bench, eventually meaning the game went to psgs midfield who hadn't needed to run as much. Overall, pens is anyone's game and I'm proud of the showings from both teams. That was pure quality UCL football and it was well enjoyed by everyone. Once more, kudos to Enrique for that, I think slot will add that to his list of lessons and knowing him, he'll be well obsessed with that game, studying it and making sure he can find a solution for similar situations in future. YNWA.

@pixelpioneers-03e

One of the most high level matches I've watched...but slot is still very adaptable.

@saadhasan2518

Luis Enrique is such a great manager, also props to PSG board as they are now making a team with squad players rather than bug names, PSG outclassed Liverpool and this is evident in a way by the xG of both sides across two legs

@ankitchauhancr7

Vitinha and Joao Neves were incredible! This new generation PSG midfield is gonna be a problem.

@Riel678

PSG played beautiful football and just evaded the press .... Nuno mendes was phenomenal

@M..n..M

Finally you're back with doing the UCL analysis!! I did not want to be the type of guy that goes "when are the game analysis video back?" but I am happy they are now!

@hungotuan4431

Ah yes, another 'False 9s solve everything' match

@harlek1149

Great analysis thank you. Disappointed that LFC lost of course, but PSG were fantastic. Liverpool have received plaudits all season but it just goes to show that there’s still much room for improvement.

@tibododo

Never been prouder of my club. Luis Enrique is doing a fantastic job

@directorme6669

The last time PSG were as good as they currently are (AS A TEAM) was before they signed Neymar!
Exciting to watch!

@vishala5064

loved the analysis, Neves and vitinha are constantly moving with or with out the ball which is very crucial in holding the mid field!

@mayukh11

I have learnt a lot on how to watch football and doing the tactical analysis, you are the revelation for me for my love for football

@The_king919

Psg did great gob in the two legs and In the end they deserved to qualify

@thierry6761

And it’s absolutely not a shame for Liverpool to have lost infront such PSG team, the most beautiful match I did see for so long time . 🙏 PSG and LIV to respect the game and offer to both fans an exceptional moment of Football

@googooboyy

Macallister was subdued that game, because he was stuck defending spaces rather than closing channels and pressing -- a key contribution to Liverpool's lacklustre press. Credit to PSG for really good off-the balls and Dembele being the player that Nunez and Jota couldn't: false 9.
