This is clickbait. They have only built 1 X-59 and it's not noiseless. It is a "Low Boom" supersonic aircraft built to test how quiet they can make the sonic boom. Visit the nasa website to read the facts. The pilot sits so far back because the vehicle is a scaled down version of an aircraft that would be more like the size of the Concord.

The problem with the X 59 if it is a problem is the pilot so far back he canโ€™t basically see whatโ€™s in front of him so he has to rely on computer visualizations
