@clintstathis

Clickbait much? Thats the cleanest most rust free rusty truck ive ever seen.

@JamesSterling

Are you sure the sway bar broke because it rusted through? It looks to me like it broke first, then rusted where the break was. The rest of the truck looks pretty rust free.

@Jakeholcomb20

Manifold leak for sure, not lifter tick, back two bolts closest to the firewall are nutorious for snapping on the hemi's, just did them on mine a few weeks ago at only 65k miles, drivers and passenger side were both snapped...

@The_Mace

I have a 2009 Ram 1500, I live in the Midwest, and my sway bar is rust-free (but my rear fenders are another story). I think that sway bar's failure was the result of some damage, perhaps by the previous owner.
Also, I replaced my sway bar bushings a few years ago, and found out the hard way that Moog sells different sized bushings for the same truck, because Dodge used different diameter sway bars on different Ram 1500 trim levels. That may be why these bushings were so difficult to install. They may have been listed for that truck, but there also might have been an option available at a bigger size.

I'm glad you were able to fix Hulk's Truck. šŸ˜® Dude is jacked!

@chet3larson

I love seeing all the lifts in the background while youā€™re working on the ground, lol. #toomanyprojects

Hooray back to cars šŸ‘ŒšŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»

@hynestimothy411

Never heard of that and I live in the rust belt

@umad42

I've got a 2011 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman that came out of Canada, easy truck to work on really, I really like it.

@1mlb704

Come to the northeast and look at all of the actual rust bucket 2011 Rams up here and you'll feel a lot better about this thing lol

@Pablo-cp9nc

If you own one of these 4th gen Rams, take the front wheel well liners out and clean out behind the front fenders, lower A pillar area right at the bottom. Iā€™m a body shop tech and Iā€™m seeing the fenders rot at the bottom in that area because all the debris from the cowl drops in there and makes ā€œcompostā€. Trees in your yard? Park near or under trees often? Better clean it outā€¦..youā€™ll be glad you did.

@vaalrus

Never had a sway bar rust off, but I did have the end of a passenger side tie rod just drop right out of the socketā€¦ Thankfully it dropped down and hooked onto the rim and up against the back of the brake disk, so the steering only went mushy, . If it hadnā€™t happened just as I was pulling away from a stop sign and instead 100 yards down the highway that might have been a different outcome. I was able to turn around an limp it home into the shop.

@sproully

I live in Minnesota and had one of the fuel tank straps on a 2011 Tahoe rust completely through. Nearly lost the tank while driving on the highway. They are plastisol coated so you couldnā€™t see the rust.

@Live2rideagain

Thank you !! At least itā€™s not another video of your shower !

@Robert-j6w5v

That guy could have picked the truck up for you he is huge

@jeremyTallen1

Matt Armstrong got me calling locking pliers mole clamps šŸ˜‚

@marknelson8724

I've done a few sway bar jobs. They generally take a lot of time and all the tools.

@aaronhayden1780

I work at a used car dealer in western Wi and can attest to welding up a couple sway bars. Mfā€™s are always splintering off the ends when they get some corrosion in there. O yeah and manifolds constantly. Probaly 3 sets a month, those bolts love snapping.

@johnharden2920

That's a third generation Ram classic.I have a second generation.It's a two thousand with the suicide back doors. It needs some work too. Me and my son are gonna start working on it soon.

@kerrylewis2581

John Ross looked great in the Z8
