Mama Pelagia restaurant in Kavros, Paralia Kourna in Crete is THE collective memory my family and I have from all our travels so far. A beautiful family of greeks having a farm and all their produce, vegetables, meat, honey, oil and the booze are served in their restaurant. Mama Pelagia is the mom and head of the family (and kitchen), dad is taking care of the farm and the two sons and daughter in law are cooking and serving. The other daughter was studying for university, so she was busy with learning ❤ THE most beautiful place, food so tasty that it's addictive. They even remembered us when we came back.
