Just got home from a 2500 mile trip in my 24 sel absolutely awesome vehicle
Not surprised. On my second Sorento now, a 2012 SX after a no issues 2011 before it. 175k on this one, with no issues at all, built very well, still rock solid chassis, solid, strong drivetrain and great suspension and handling. They can build a really good vehicles.
Hyundai giving you press cars / inviting you to press days but not GM? Shame on you, GM (corporate).
JR knows more about these than my local Hyundai sales rep. I own a 2022 Santa Cruz Limited and would consider a new one when the time is right. I've had no major issues with the vehicle and had it since Aug of 2021. I routinely get between 26 and 28 MPG...
I wish they put two rear facing bucket seats in the back, just like the old Subaru Brat.
I’m on my 2nd Santa Cruz and absolutely love them. Great power from the 2.5 turbo. I’ve never taken mine off road but it does great in snow. I did add better Wildpeak tires. The interior is very nice. I like the covered bed and as a city dweller I don’t want or need a full size. People ask about the truck all the time. My only complaint is wind noise from the mirrors. Tesla should have done something closer to this for their first truck.
I build kias for a living and that is the wrong trans for that vehicle. The dual clutch gets hot with any mild off roading plus its a little jerky in city driving at low speeds. I will say it shifts fast
Going to get one soon!👍
I’m a tech for Hyundai, the engine is ok other than issues with coolant leaks but that should have the 8 speed dct which is having issues still after 4 years now the Santa Fe’s are having issues where we have to take the air box and battery tray out and inspect the top of the transmission case for cracks or holes even and the bottom of the transmission for leaks. If you go to a Hyundai dealer you’ll notice every technician other than maybe a Elantra n does not own a Hyundai or Kia!😂
People do tow things behind cars, you know =D My 1997 Audi A4 1.8T legally tows 2800 pounds, that's quite a boat! I get it with the big trucks when towing 4000+ pounds. Here in europe we tow caravans and trailers with our cars just fine.
Kinda of a cool looking little vehicle
Jr , when you make a Hyundai/Kia your daily I might believe you . Till then it's just a commercial
I just returned from a work trip in the Bay area. The city and or county of Sant Cruz, uses the Santa Cruz as a fire department beach vehicle. I agree, it is a different world out there, SO different from South Carolina
Just got a 24' sel and am a big fan!
One of the better looking trucklets out there these days.
I actually like the Santa Cruz, it's a cross between a brat and Tucson
It's cool, but it's hard to get past the engine problems...
I was waiting for do what you wanna do see you next time.👍
i will probably never want a hyundai/kia, but that truck has some nice features, be nice if toyota or honda had something similar
