I don’t even go to the movies anymore. I have a toddler and thus zero free time and the last time I did have a few hours spare there was nothing worth seeing. That being said I still watch every episode of the big picture because I used to love movies and will again someday and I love that Sean loves movies and it’s just a wonderful thing to watch someone so devoted to a field articulate just why what it is they care about is so wonderful. As an Australian I grew up watching David and Margaret and took it for granted that there would always be well studied critics thinking deeply about the art that gets made and what is says about our culture and us as humans. I now realise that is an exception rather than a rule, thus making you exceptional Sean. Keep doing what you do mate, my first return to the cinema will be for The Brutalist

I saw Blitz at London Film Festival and it was very obvious why it premiered there. All the Brits seemed to love it and its traditional approach. Interesting film.
