Sometimes linen won't even cut it. The only linen piece of clothing that is actually cooling is a pair of pants I got from a brand called black ficus. I hate the cut too but I wear them because theyre like AC for my legs

Thanks so much for this! In Summer I don't like wearing short sleeves and shorts, and linen makes it possible to wear a long-sleeve shirt and long pants every day even when its hot!

Hey James! A bit irrelevant but would you still get a size M in your COS heavyweight t shirt now, or would you size down? I'm thinking of getting it but I'm going through a similar phase where I prefer the look of a slimmer fitting t shirt, not as wildly oversized and baggy as before. Thank you! For reference I'm about 5ft9, 150 pounds and I usually get the same size as you in pieces we both have. And getting pieces tailored is not a problem where I live if need to
