@prachurjyabarman

Instead of going to expensive cafes and restaurants this man decided to go totally local... Massive massive respects to you man, you've covered more about Northeast than our mainstream media that too very beautifully.... Thank you for visiting and trying our dishes, although you only tasted a few of the dishes🐱... Lots of love from a fellow Assamese

@faizalmohammed9874

I am from Kerala, and i am alien to North Eastern cuisine because our mainstream media don't usually discuss about them. The NE cuisine looks incredible. To the people of the North East, be proud of your cuisine. Diversity in culture as well as cuisine is what makes this country beautiful.

@Ghastlyedits3

I think this is the first time the north east India is covered on such a big platform. People should be more aware that north East Indian cuisine is also Indian cuisine.
Thanks to this channel this will find its light 🙏

@magicdev2192

As an Assamese myself I am very happy to see you covering our awesome cuisine!

@subhadeepbiswas9396

I absolutely love North East India... I have many Assamese friends who treated me with lovely pork dishes during my college days in Bangalore...personally I visited Assam and Meghalaya, loved the sweet innocent people there, the diverse landscapes and ofcourse the cuisine! Will be visiting Arunachal and Nagaland soon. Love from Kolkata, WB.

@asd-sj9cq

Hi Sonny! I'm from India & thank you so much for saying towards the end that you're trying to make the global audience (myself included) aware or redefine what Indian cuisine traditionally is.

Definitely beyond Butter Chicken/Tikka Masala + Garlic Naan + Dal Makhani.

@o_34_saielpittalwar32

I don’t know about others but I’m from Maharashtra(India) and we obviously respect the northeastern cuisine and appreciate it….❤️❤️

@KarabeloPrecious

As a south African, iv always wanted to go to India and try new foods like this great guy did. I'm glad he visited the locals as if it was me, I would also visit the locals. Great stuff!!!

@amitbharadwaj4726

Brilliant...so happy you are exploring the "7 Sisters" Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland and Manipur...my love and best wishes.. to all my fellow Indians!

@MrYtkrishna

North East is another soul of India.. As a South Indian i feel the connection more closer with north eastern people.. The food, culture, lifestyle not too different from people live in hill places in TamilNadu.. ❤

@NargitaKapoor

So excited to see North-East Indian cuisine showing up on food & travel channels. It's like nothing else in India. The flavours are simple because they rely on locally sourced meats and greens and are not overshadowed by a slew of spice blends. I hope I get to see Naga food next. LOVE IT!

@Kolgai

I am from Tamil Nadu. North-east food and culture looks so much closer to South Indian culture. Pork and pigeon is eaten in villages here too. A type of bug called eesal is eaten in Tamil Nadu as well.

@desigirl__

Wow never thought you would visit Guwahati
Such an honour to have you here ♥️♥️♥️
North East part of India is very different from the mainland and lots of scenic place to explore 😁😁 hope you have a great time 💜

@jahnabidas7986

Can’t believe he came to Northeast and covered the whole food scenario so well ❤

@beinghonestperson3714

India's map which has been used in the video is not correct!! Please take a reference of govt of India's official websites before posting map!!Thank you exploring north eastern India❤

@mondeepboruah6006

Assamese food going global ❤
Most of the people outside of Assam don't know much about Assamese cuisine. Thanks for covering it so beautifully..

@bernardlovesadventures6649

Disappointing to see that the Northeastern India haters called out in this video are still present in the comment section. If you've been watching Sonny's content for a while and all of a sudden decided what he's eating is disgusting and not to your taste, just roll off. You don't get to be the judge of what people should or shouldn't eat.

@rimaroy9125

As someone born and raised in Guwahati, I learned much more from this video. It's a shame how the rest of the country looks down upon us but this is just the beginning. Thank you~

@thisissophiaisabelle

Indian cuisines are diverse. It’s amazing to see them all showcased in here. It really shows the beauty of their traditions and cultures.
