George was a pioneer! He laid the groundwork for what liveaid and his self-titled concert would achieve years later. Such an awesome guy!

@GLING17

George has always been my favorite Beatle. He was a truly lovely and caring person and had a beautiful and wise soul. Been gone 20 years this November and he is missed so much. Rest in peace, George. ❤️🙏✌🏻💜

Love♥️ and appreciation👏 from Bangladesh. 🇧🇩

We read about this concert in our textbooks. These great persons stood by our nation when we needed the most and we won't ever forget their contribution in our liberation war.

We are very grateful to them.

@chaycripps

I love George so much may he rest eternally in heavenly peace

@neilmclaughlin2347

It’s nice to see George as a pioneer of large-scale fundraising via music. There is also, I detect, a genuine sincerity and concern in his efforts (initially motivated by wanting to help his friend-Ravi Shankar) and so unlike other pompous, ego-driven endeavours, like Live Aid et al…

Harrison no ha muerto. Vive en las estrellas.

Two legends who upheld the spirit of music to the highest level- irrespective of vast differences in almost everything. I wish we took a moment to realize how happy the world be together, hand in hand, casting aside all hatred, prejudices and selfishness with nothing to kill or die for.

Thank you.. thank you from heart💝

the Beatles changed the world, but George changed the world, he pioneered massive charity concerts, which have raised millions to help those in need. one person's decision to do something, a stone in a pond, rippled across the world for decades. a great man.

George Harrison... My idol since I first heard it, It was always my Favorite Beatle and also my Favorite musician (Maybe you don't mind this comment)

@ramona8050

George was a wonderful exception. He was a sensitive and exquisite musician. His guitar solos were a target in the depths of being, transmitting a wide range of emotions. He made a difference with his moderation and simplicity. more mature than many of his peers, he was also the least ambitious, and the most profound, and selfless. His way of composing, singing, speaking, looking, smiling, living and surviving fame remind us that he was a very special being.He was a kind of angel that was sent to us at that time. Gentleness and Light that was George and that is what he continues to transmit to us and I know that many of you think the same as me.
Isn’t that pity you're no longer with us?
Take Care.Love & Respect from Bangladesh.🇧🇩
