That anime ramyun you tried... the description you gave, and the appearance, reminds me of Ottogi brand sesame ramyun, which happens to be my personal favorite. I usually clear out the shelf when I make why way to H-Mart.

That packaged beef soup looks tasty. I presume it's yukgaejang/육개장. I am pretty sure I've seen some spots in H-Mart with it and there's some spots in Flushing specializing in it.
