An excellent account of the uprising and the lead up to it. It closely matches Ulick O'Connor's book of Michael Collins and the Troubles, the first half of which covers the same lead up and execution of the Rising. Rebellion and the follow-on Rebellion Resistance is an excellent dramatisation of the same. To be found on Netflix.

I grew up a social Democrat since I was a child...i supported the British Labour Party in a way.... I heard they were the Only Left Wing Party... I joined the British Labour Party in 2017... I am 62 now and i dont know what to make of the British Labour Party...who is a socialist and who isn't at this stage...I am leaving the British Labour Party today... November 2024.
