@theoryofeverything3647

have it now in a 1440p display and works pretty good to this day, just use DLSS and tweak the settings a little bit, works fine in well optimized games.

@GnomeKr

I am a guy with an extremely high tolerance to play games in 30fps, so seeing that I could boot up games like HDII or even Horizon on max settings, which both are VERY demanding games and easily get above 40fps WITHOUT DLSS makes me extremely happy, 3060 as of right now is truly the best GPU you can own as a casual gamer, it's affordable and is a phenomenal successor to GTX 1060

Edit: after using 3060 12GB for over three months now and stress testing it in various games I gotta say that this GPU is an absolute STEAL, I can recommend it for everyone who has a very VERY tight budget and/or doesn't want to or can't buy the 4060

@Thomas_Angelo

It's embarrassing that game companies can't even optimize trees to not eat half your fps. They don't care about the customers anymore.

@michaelaguilar524

I just bought a 12 gb vram 3060. Going to this from a gtx 1050 that had 2gb vram or less something terrible. So im super excited to game for the first time. T hear people crying about such small details is crazy to me lol

@BladeCrew

You dont need 60fps constistently, as long as it feels smooth and works then its fine. As long as it does not dip below 40fps in a single player title its fine. If its multiplier then its a different story but for the most part single player games dont need 60fps and does not need ultra settings. Medium to high settings is more than enough without wasting fps for 5% visual increase.

@ulfricstormcloak7142

I bought a used 3060 12GB for $180 last year with 2 years warranty left. I paired it with 10105F and playing at 1440p :)

@Phoenix-kun

I mean Alan Wake 2 turned the 4090 into a 1080 experience at max settings so there is no way a 3060 would be able to perform as well.

@JayzBeerz

I have a 4080 and still watch all of your videos. Thank you.

@aesthezel

I love this model, this MSI RTX 3060 is the best performance/price card in the market for me

@derangedoven7928

just replaced my rx580 8gb with the 3060 12 gb. runs quieter and cooler and smother and with less issues

@sirduckykins

Just got mine! Upgrading from RTX 3050 8gb to this one due to an energy drink spill and it’s ridiculous how good this is!

@kawaiipiggy9143

I just bought my 3060 for about $375 (about $230 USD) and I am BEYOND happy with all of these results. I was previously gaming on my ryzen 5 5600g integrated graphics, which are basically equivalent to a gt 1030, so this is absolutely beautiful to look at.

@COYG94

I have 3060 12gb paired with ryzen 5700x and i can max out pretty much any game at native 1080p alan wake 2, avatar, cyberpunk phantom liberty are exceptions lol but it is still a very capable card

@yand.8317

Bro came directly from Metro Exodus with his accent

@zcyk3

The temps is consistently good what cpu and gpu cooler you use?

@diego_chang9580

I was just thinking on buying the this same exact model of the RTX 3060 12gb, nice!

Question, how does it feel to play with DLSS Quality at 1080p? Is it too noticeable? Right now my GPU can't really run it (1050 Ti) so I don't think I have any kind of reference for it sadly.

@ltmandar

thanks for the tip about turning off nVidia Relex, also now they have FSR3 FG for RTX 3060. i have to set vsync to half refresh rate for it to stop stuttering. i have 144hz monitor.

@stevecummings4539

He says: "Getting 60 FPS is not possible in a modern game using the RTX 3060" This is completely false.

I can run RDR2 in 4k at a constant 60FPS using the correct settings. The 12GB of memory allows the 3060 to run Ultra textures and with dlss performance the game looks fantastic with lighting features set to high, almost all other settings are set to low or turned off because they don't do much for visual quality.

Modern games don't use the same technology as older games did, and running max settings isn't optimal for literally any GPU. A RTX 4090 with actually lag in RDR2 running max settings in 4k. These games have lots of additional tech that isn't necessarily right for your GPU. You should consult an optimization guide if you plan on spending any serious time on a given game to make sure you get decent performance with your GPU.

If you lower the shadows to medium, you can already get a significant increase. At the same time, the shadows still look good.
