This is not just a gpu. This is the optimal baseline requirement for running deepseek 14b locally. Prices not dropping anytime soon
it's not. nothing is outdated as long as you can play your fave games
*looking at my 1060 6gb* *looking at the only game i played for 10+ years being an mmo and having 100fps* Yeah mate yeah 3060 is outdated fr who would even still run that smh poor people
Can't wait for 5060 to offer the same exact performance with a built in Lossless scaling lmao
My cousin is still rocking this, prett good card. He still plays eveything in 1080p high-ultra without problems
I bought it new for $300. This is my first ever dedicated gpu. Paired it with my 2 yr old 5600g (I know about pcie 3 &4) and started playing RDR 2. I can easily get 60 fps on ultra settings. My pc gaming lore just started.
I got the 3060 12Gb for years now and the only cards I will consider to upgrade to, are 9070 16GB or 5070ti 16GB. If the jump in performance is high enough and the price is reasonable.
i remember when these cards were like 800 dollars insane
if 3060 is outdated then my 750Ti is prehistoric
If a 3060 is outdated my RX580 is Jesus
PC enthusiasts move so fast man. The 3060ti is a dream for tons of people, but theres a question if it is outdated.
finally my gpu is in this channel 😭🤝
I bought a mint 3060 12gb used for $200 bucks 4 months ago... runs great so to me it was a really good deal !
picked up my 3060 12gb when it 1st come out and only upgraded last month to a rtx 4080 then put the 3060 into my stream rig
Picked it up used for $200 a while ago for my budget build. I’m a 1080p gamer (as are most people statistically) so this should hold me down until I get the budget to upgrade to the big leagues GPU. Looking forward to playing the new Metal Gear solid and Death Stranding 2 on this card 👍
Funny thing is during the vram debacle the 4060 was cheaper than the 3060 lmao
Idc what anyone says. I got my 3060 12gb for $100 so I’m happy with it, went from rx570 4gb to a 3060
People often overlook slightly older GPUs, assuming they’re outdated and incapable, but many still offer excellent performance for gaming, content creation, and AI workloads. The obsession with the latest hardware means great deals on GPUs that are just a generation or two behind. Unless someone needs cutting-edge ray tracing or ultra-high refresh rates, a high-end card from a few years ago can still handle modern games and tasks just fine. It’s worth considering the price-to-performance ratio rather than just chasing the newest release.
I got this gpu a little over a year ago brand new, and at that time I didn't know much about pc parts at all, but after doing lots of research from then to now, I have to say that I was lucky to get the 12gb version of this card as I am running a R5 5600g with a 1440p monitor and it can run my games at 1440p with great fps on medium to max settings.
