My Dad is also one of them who sings and pray goddesses during “Bhajan” sessions at our tole. I played him this music video on you tube and he got emotional. This song is not just a song, it is a masterpiece of the fusion between modern and folk newari tune but most importantly this song is an emotion.

@Nikesh977

What I think about the meaning of the video.
1) The beautiful girl represents attachment and ignorace.
2) The lakhey represents suffering.
3) Bhajan represents self purification and ethical living.
In short, suffering (lakhey) is caused by attachment (girl). So, wisdom and ethical living leads to end of suffering.

@muan990

2:15 this is the best part of this video. The bhajan's music strikes in and sets a different tone revealing the true face of lakhey. Didn't actually understand the meaning but can completely immerse myself in the music and the tone of it. Really loved it!
