Wonderful video! 40 years ago i did a homestay program in Japan for two months. The father of the family was a big skiing fan and took his family and i up into a very un-touristy mountain ski town for a long weekend. Though our accommodations were far more crude than what you show, you capture the experience of retreating to the snowy mountains very well. Wonderful job!

I have just started to watch your video, and I am impressed, so I just subscribed. Your video is excellent, and after watching the Kusatsu Onsen part of it, I am looking forward to see the 2 other nights you spent in Gunma prefecture. Thanks for explaining about the reason for that "bath stirring" with huge wooden sticks and the Yubatake. I have seen both several times, but never knew the meaning of them.
