01. Reticulated Python (Malayopython reticulatus)
The Reticulated Python is the largest python in the world. They are also widely considered to be the longest snakes in the world. Reticulated pythons are over 20 feet long and can weigh over 150 pounds. They have clear markings consisting of black, white, yellow, and caramel scales and long, thin heads. Like all pythons, the Reticulated python is non-toxic and uses its constriction to crush and suffocate its prey. The largest python ever officially recorded is called the Medusa. The snake lives in Kansas City, Missouri, measures 25.2 feet, and weighs 350 pounds.
