In this video, we take a look at the state of gaming right before consoles start the transition to HD graphics and online connectivity as we know it today. We're taking a look at Electronic Gaming Monthly EGM) Issue 197 which features an Xbox 360 Buyers Guide, along with GamePro Issue 206 that also cover the 360 launch among many other features and reviews. We're also taking a look at footage of many games featured in these magazines. November 2005 was a wild time to be a gamer, we didn't quite grasp just how transformative the upcoming generation of gaming was going to be.
