E is for Educators - if you're a K-12 teacher, counselor, instructor, principal, or aide working more than 900 hours in a school, you may be eligible for a $300 deduction (Educator Expense Deduction) on your tax return.

Many educators will spend hundreds of their own dollars on classroom supplies that they'll never be reimbursed for. There is a little-known tax relief that could be available for them that covers out-of-pocket expenses (supplies, materials, books, even tech used in the classroom). This applies whether you itemize or take the standard deduction.
