133 5________

Today on Arizona Horizon, we look at changes to early voting, examine housing prices in Arizona, and meet one of the "players" in an annual fan-favorite event... the Puppy Bowl.

Senate and House lawmakers are looking again at a bipartisan solution to help lower prices for first time home-buyers. A similar bill was vetoed last year by Governor Hobbs. The bill would strip larger Arizona cities and towns of the right to set standards for single family home lot and building sizes. It also bars their ability to set design standards. Part of the state's shortage is tied to the foreclosure crisis that started in 2007. Arizona led the nation with the highest rate of foreclosures. The League of Cities and Towns also objected to the bill, saying it deregulates standards for building and zoning.

Felicity is a rescue Doberman who will be in this year's Puppy Bowl on Feb. 9. Airing on Animal Planet, Discovery, MAX, and TBS Network, Puppy Bowl is the top non-sports cable broadcast. Felicity came to Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue of Arizona after a backyard breeder surrendered her mom to an emergency vet. Mama had an obstruction, and the breeder did not want to invest in her life-saving surgery. Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue took over her care. Now with her forever family, Felicity is attending training and group classes to continue her socialization and enrichment.
