More about the Bike Rally:

Over 400 people will embark on the 600 km journey from Toronto to Montreal over a week in July 2011. Some of our riders are skilled cyclists; however, the Bike Rally has men and women of all backgrounds participating, from the ages of 18 to 70, united in their passion to support their friends and loved ones. In its thirteenth year, the Bike Rally is one of the most well-organized, safe, and inclusive events in Canada.

Since 1985 over 19,500 people have tested positive for HIV in Toronto, over one quarter of Canada's HIV-positive population. The need is great and Toronto People With AIDS Foundation (PWA) provides accessible, direct and practical information and support services, such as food, health promotion, income support and treatment programs. The Friends For Life Bike Rally supports PWA and helps to raise almost half of its annual operating budget.
