In this video, I am showing how to make Takikomi-Gohan or mixed rice with chicken, mushrooms and carrot. This can be made with other ingredients such as other meat, fish, beans, mushrooms etc.

In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.

Ingredients for Takikomi-Gohan
Rice 1 Cup
Water 1 Cup
Chicken (or other meat/fish) 100 g
Carrot 1/2
Shimeji Mushroom 1/2 package
Oyster Mushroom 4-6 pcs
Ginger (optional) 5-10 g
Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
Sake 1 Tbsp
Sugar 1 Tsp
