Chicken Nihari

Ingredients Chicken Nihari:
Oil 1/2 cup
Chicken 1 kg
Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp
Nihari masala 3 tbsp
Water 5-6 cups
Flour mixture (gandum ka atta 1/2 cup + water 1/2 cup)

Ingredients for Tari:
Oil 1/2 cup
Paprika powder 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Garnishing:
Green coriander (chopped) as required
Ginger (julienne) as required
Lemon slices as required

Directions for Chicken Nihari Preparation:
In a pot, heat oil and add chicken, cook until chicken changes color.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Add nihari masala and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add water and cover and cook for 25-30 mins.
Take off the lid and cook for 2-3 mins. Add flour mixture into it. Add gradually and mix until thickens. Set aside.
Directions for Tari Preparation:
In a pan, heat oil and add paprika powder. Sizzle for a minute.
Add this tari to prepared chicken nihari.
Garnish it with green coriander, ginger, lemon slices and serve. Your Chicken Nihari is ready.
