A care partner is an important source of support for people living with kidney disease as they navigate new challenges. They can assist with managing medical information and appointments, preparing for surgeries, and helping with adjustments to life after transplant or through dialysis. However, with the many responsibilities caregivers bear, it can be overwhelming to care for a loved one and balance one’s own well-being. This talk features panelists who will discuss the caregiver role, share individual experiences, and provide resources and tips on how to take care of oneself while supporting a loved one living with kidney disease.
