The Taunton Vale Harriers Pony Club annual Three Day Rally (four days this year) is, weather permitting, a whole heap of late-summer fun, with tired ponies and children going home every night to re-charge; it's like a camp but no-one stays overnight.
There's a cross-country course, show-jumps and grids, mounted games, cushion polo, hundreds of donuts and 'The Great Regency House Challenge' ... an 'off-pony' team challenge for the brave ending with a flour and egg throwing session. Fun? You've never seen anything like it!
