The WDR BIG BAND and Sabeth Pérez (vocals) perform the composition “Miniatura” by Sa Sabeth Pérez (arranger: Gabriel Pérez) under the direction of Stefan Pfeifer-Galilea. Solos are played by John Goldsby on bass and Mattis Cederberg on tuba. Guest musician Martin Scales plays the guitar. Recorded as part of the concert “WDR BIG BAND feat. Sabeth and Gabriel Pérez: La Adivina at the WDR Funkhaus in Cologne (November 2024).

Sabeth Pérez found inspiration for this new program in spirituality: The legends of the South American seer Adivina tell of her supernatural powers that give people comfort for their personal future. Sabeth and her father, the Argentinian arranger Gabriel Pérez, have translated all this into modern South American jazz.
