From powering the Tacoma Police Department's transparency dashboard to enabling data-driven decision making, Snowflake helps government departments streamline public services as well manage the city's public utilities, which include energy, rail, and water.

In addition, department users are able to take innovation into their own hands outside the walls of the IT department, using Streamlit, for example, to develop applications on top of Snowflake. With Snowflake’s seamless data sharing and innovative features, such as dynamic tables, the City of Tacoma is leading the way in modernizing municipal services and public safety initiatives.
