I’m excited to share with you all we have a very special briefing for November. Georgia Senator John Albers will be our guest presenter and he will talk about the importance of state-level advocacy.

Not only is Senator Albers a kidney donor, he also led Georgia’s version of the Living Donor Protection Act, called the Giving The Gift Of Life Act. The legislation protects potential organ donors from losing their life insurance, and also incentivizes new donors by increasing the tax deduction for organ donation. Senator Albers’ bill was signed into law this May.
