I first saw Rivian at the 2018 LA Autoshow. They came out of nowhere. I was very impressed. At the time I had just bought my first Tesla Model 3. Fast forward to 2022 and I placed a $1000 reservation for a R1S. At the time they were still production constrained. I ended up getting a Model X Plaid instead. It is a great car but the doors and a few other things annoyed me more than I thought they would. When a local car dealership had a 2025 Rivian R1S for almost $20K off....and gave me a very fair amount for my Model X....I had to make the switch.

Many are also interested in my Equinox EV. I shot a bunch of footage about it a few months ago but never used it. I will try and give it a proper update as it is a very competent car as well.
