Dahi Phulki Chaat
Ingredients For Phulki:
Gram flour 2 cups
Cumin seeds (crushed) 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Water 1 ½ cup / as required
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Oil (for frying) as required
Water (for soaking) as required
Ingredients for Dahi Phulki Chaat:
Prepared phulki as required
Tomatoes (chopped) 1/2 cup
Onion (chopped) 1/2 cup
White chickpeas (boiled) 1 cup
Yogurt 1 ½ cup
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Red chili flakes as required
Sev as required
Directions for Phulki Preparation:
In a bowl add gram flour, cumin seeds crushed, salt, water, baking soda and mix it well.
Now pipe out small portions of this batter into frying oil and deep fry them over low flame until crispy and golden brown.
Now transfer them to water and let them soak for 5-10 mins or until phulki gets soft. Set aside.
Directions for Dahi Phulki Chaat Preparation:
In a bowl add prepared phulki, tomatoes, onion, white chickpeas, yogurt, chaat masala, red chili flakes, sev and serve. Your Dahi Phulki Chaat is ready.
