For the Christian today it would seem freedom is defined by the feeling of fulfillment that comes when you’re doing what you want to do. You say, Jesus freed me from the law, and now I am under grace; so there are no religious rules binding me.

However, for the religious (devout) person freedom is not a feeling, in fact, the definition of freedom is the liberty obtained by another that allows one to exercise his freedom as permitted, not given without cost or obligation.

This is the controversy we will discuss in today's teaching.
