Malai Chicken Tikka Bread Pockets
Ingredients for Malai Chicken Tikka:
Chicken boneless chunks 500 g
Yogurt 1 cup
Green chilies (chopped) 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cream 1/3 cup
Oil (for cooking) as required
Heated coal (for smoke) 1-2 pieces

Bread slices as required
Beaten eggs as required
Bread crumbs as required
Oil (for frying) as required
Prepared malai chicken tikka
Directions for Malai Chicken Tikka Preparation:
In a bowl add chicken, yogurt, green chilies, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, black pepper crushed, salt, cream and mix it well.
In a pan, heat oil and add marinated chicken. Cook until the chicken is fully done.
Turn off the flame, place a heated coal piece in an aluminum cup in the center of the pan.
Drizzle oil on heated coal pieces. Cover the pan with lid and let it smoke for 1-2 mins. Set aside.
Directions for Malai Tikka Bread Pockets Preparation:
Take the bread slices and cut the edges. Take two bread slices. Place them on top of each other. Flatten them together with a rolling pin.
Now dip them in beaten eggs, and coat in breadcrumbs.
Now deep fry them until crispy and puffed.
Cut the puffed bread in a triangle shape.
Fill them with malai chicken tikka filling.
Your Malai Chicken Tikka Bread Pockets are ready.
