Aloo Samosa

Ingredients for Dough:
All-purpose flour 4 cups
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ghee 1/2 cup
Water as required

Ingredients for Samosa Filling:
Boiled potatoes (mashed) 2 cups
Green coriander 1 cup
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Samosa:
Prepared dough
Prepared samosa filling
Water as required
Oil for frying as required

Directions for Dough Preparation:
In a bowl add flour, cumin seeds, salt, ghee, water and knead a smooth dough.
Cover it with cling film and let it rest for 10-15 mins.
Directions for Samosa Filling Preparation:
In a bowl add boiled potatoes, green coriander, onion, pomegranate seeds, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, chaat masala, lemon juice and mix it well. Set aside.
Directions for Samosa Preparation:
Take the dough and cut it into 8 parts.
Take on part, roll it out in a flat circle. Cut the circle in half.
Make samosa shape, bind the edges with water and fill the samosa with samosa filling.
Now deep fry them until crispy and light brown.
Your Aloo Samosa is ready.
