Tiny dresses, towering heels and way too much to drink - that's what passes as a girls' night out these days, but it's an evening that too often lands them in a police cell or even hospital. According to the latest research, when it comes to binge drinking, young women are now doing their best to match the blokes. What was once considered embarrassing and outrageous behaviour is now celebrated as the norm. So why do they do it? Well, their simple explanation is, they just want to have fun.
