In today's video, I make simple, easy turkey stock using the leftover Thanksgiving turkey carcass and fresh herbs from my garden! I'm hosting a party of 12, so I needed an easy, low-cost meal and leftover thanksgiving turkey soup was the perfect, cozy choice! Making stock at home needs simmering for several hours, so in that downtime, I took some product photography of my homemade soap to prepare for re-opening my website!

I hope you can see in this video that hosting doesn’t have to be intimidating. If there's a lot on your plate, always opt for easy, low-maintenance meals like soup and other set-it-and-forget-it type meals that give you a lot of downtime to get other things done on your to-do list!
