Getting a little creative in Fort Bragg with Mendocino County's Shelter in Place orders. This adventure took place less than 2 miles from our house. We traveled less distance than most folks do going to the grocery store.

We dreamed up this adventure while trying to stay within Mendocino County's stringent shelter in place orders. All beaches, parks, and trails are closed in Mendocino County, and Mendocino County's SIP states that you cannot drive to exercise.

We dressed in our drysuits at the house and hiked to the edge of town and down the logging road. We swam across the river to Liquid Fusion Kayaking Headquarters in Dolphin Isle Marina and grabbed our sea kayaks for a crabbing adventure at sea.
