This is the biggest freshwater fish barramundi I have ever caught on camera and most likely the heaviest freshwater fish I have ever caught.
Lake monster, fishing for monsters haha. AKA river monsters I have caught big barramundi before but this one was one of those fish that everything had to go right for me to be able to land it.
I was fishing for just big barramundi using big swim baits in the lead up to the full moon, I could catch good size barramundi on jerk baits but I knew fishing a big swim bait would catch the biggest fish. Fishing for barramundi is tough at night let alone in the day when they are shut down, so catching this fish was epic.
