By the time I was aware about the controversy around the original video's artist, I was already mostly done, so I decided to finish it since I already sunk a lot of time and effort into it.

All I knew was the original upload from Hiiragi Kirai was private, so I decided to make my own, heavily inspired by the original video. Unfortunately for me, I wrongly assumed the problem might've been the themes of the video, or maybe even something to do with the music itself.

The controversy was around the artist (Kanda You)'s style closely resembles another artist that also worked with Hiiragi Kirai, WOOMA, who both expressed discomfort over the similarities. (Nothing was "stolen", just similar art styles.) It caused confusion for many people, which is why is original is now removed.
While I thought I was doing something respectful by not re-uploading the video, I may have done the complete opposite by re-drawing the art.
