My dad has been a lifelong athlete, and he’s been riding mountain bikes since before either of us were born. His athletic achievements, include, to name a few, many years of racing on the road, riding across the United States with my mom, and racing one of the very first Kona Ironman triathlon events. He’s been racing mountain bikes since the 90s, and if you’ve been watching this channel, you know that he’s still at it, at 72 years young.

So why an ebike? Well, while he can still dust many a younger person without the aid of a motor, chasing me around has become harder and harder, in large part due to the fact that I've gotten faster. So we’re hoping that a lightweight Ari Nebo Peak e-bike will be the ticket to allow him to go farther and ride longer, even as he gets older.
