Here are some things to remember about protein:

Protein needs are NOT based on body weight. They’re based on “ideal” body weight. See video :).

Protein needs are HEAVILY dependent upon what you do and want to achieve.

Just because you may be far from your “ideal” doesn’t mean it’s appropriate to turn your life upside down right this second. It would be far better to slowly get there over time.

That way, it won’t be such a jolt and it’ll be easier to maintain for a long period of time.
